Complex Business and Commercial Litigation

Barg Coffin Lewis & Trapp, LLP's experienced trial lawyers regularly handle complex business and commercial litigation matters for a variety of industries. We have extensive experience in prosecuting and defending claims in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. We also have special expertise in unfair competition and Business & Professions Code section 17200 actions; consumer class actions; representing professional service providers in professional liability and complex fee collection cases; securities and business fraud claims; breach of fiduciary duty claims; partnership disputes; employment disputes; commercial real estate litigation; commercial contract disputes; attorney fee disputes; and minority squeeze-out claims.

Our lawyers draw upon their collective expertise in these wide-ranging matters to develop practical, concrete and cost-effective solutions for our clients. Our litigation style is aggressive, efficient and results-oriented. Particular attention is paid to maximizing opportunities for early resolution, by means of efficient discovery and effective motion practice, or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as arbitration, mediation or early neutral evaluation. Where early resolution is not possible or desirable, we have the experience and expertise necessary to try the case.
